What We Do

At Kare, we support people with intellectual disabilities and their families to create a life that fulfils their personal potential.

We deliver a  range of community-based supports to over 550 children and adults with intellectual disability across Kildare, west Wicklow and east Offaly.

These services include day services, residential, clinical supports, outreach, employment and short breaks/respite.

We are also patron to St. Anne’s Special National School and St. Mark’s Special National School in Newbridge, Co. Kildare.

How We Do It

Our Strategic Plan 2021–2025 'Inclusion, Innovation, Inspiration' guides the direction of the organisation to improve how we do things.

A detailed analysis of how Kare's funds are spent is published in our annual report, as well as highlights from throughout the year.
