To make an application, visit the Current Vacancies page and click 'Apply' on your chosen role. You will then be taken to our Applicant Tracking System. You will be asked to provide some personal details, upload your CV and answer some questions. We will use this information to assess your suitability for the role and help us to shortlist candidates for interview.
One the application is made through our Applicant Tracking System, you will receive an email acknowledging receipt of your application. Your application will be reviewed and candidates will be shortlisted for interview based on the information provided. You will be contacted after the closing date with an update on the status of your application.
The salary for each role is provided in the job description. Our salaries are in accordance with the HSE consolidated salary scales.
If you are shortlisted for interview, you will be contacted by a member of Kare's HR team to make arrangements. They will provide you with the date, time and location of the interview as well as the names of the people on the interview panel. If you require special accommodations for interview, you can request them at this stage.
Typically, you will be interviewed by a panel of two members of the Kare team (and external consultants if required). The interview panel will include someone in a management/supervisory role and/or people with experience/specific knowledge related to the role.
We use a competency-based approach for our interviews. We recommend preparing answers using the STAR method: outlining the Situation, Task, Action and Result for each example you share. We may also ask scenario-based questions, where a hypothetical situation is put to you and you will be asked to explain how you would respond.
Referring to policies and processes you have experience with, as well as using the STAR method, will help you to provide a detailed answer.

Once all shortlisted candidates have been interviewed for a particular role, you will be contacted with an update on the status of your application. If you have not been successful, we will let you know at this stage.
If you have been successful in progressing to the next stage, a member of the HR team will be in touch to let you know and discuss next steps which will include police vetting, reference checks and qualification validation. Formal offers of employment will not be made until these checks have been satisfactorily completed.

You will receive individual updates on each application and may be required to attend multiple interviews if successful in more than one application.
