Kare athletes depart for the Special Olympics Summer Games

There was great excitement and pride today as Team Kare set off to represent Leinster at the Special Olympics Summer Games.
A group of 15 athletes who are supported by Kare will compete across a range of sports including basketball, bocce, bowling, golf and equestrian events.
Alongside the competition, the group will also have the chance to enjoy the social side of the Games, meeting participants from across the country and celebrating their achievements together.
Staff, families and supporters gathered to wish the team well as they began their journey, marking an important and memorable moment for everyone involved.
We are incredibly proud of each of our athletes and all the hard work they have put in to reach this stage. We wish them the very best of luck for what promises to be an action-packed and enjoyable weekend.
