Kare's 2024 Annual Report

We are proud to share our 2024 Annual Report.

At Kare, we help people with intellectual disabilities to live their best lives. In 2024, we were privileged to support more than 1,400 children and adults across our day, outreach, employment, residential, learning and clinical services, as well as in our role as lead agency for the Kildare West Wicklow Children’s Network Disability Team.

This report has updates and information on our strategic goals, governance and financial performance. Of course, it also celebrates the people behind the numbers, through photos and personal stories shared throughout the year.

As you look through the report, you will see photos of outings, holidays, new jobs, new homes, special birthdays, graduations, performances and so much more. It is a reminder that there is no limit to the things we can achieve with the right support.

All of this was made possible by our incredible community of over 770 staff, whose dedication and compassion help to bring our values to life each day.

Our Board of Directors, Senior Management Team, and Voice for Kare advocacy group continue to provide strong leadership and guidance, keeping the voices and rights of people in our services at the heart of what we do.

Kare’s income and expenditure both increased again this year, reflecting the continued growth of our services. We are grateful to our funders, donors, corporate partners and local supporters for helping us expand and enhance the services we provide.
