Enjoying 'Rock the Boat' at Kare's End-of-Year Celebration in Keadeen

On 3rd December, the Kare community came together in the beautiful surrounds of the Keadeen Hotel for our annual End-of-Year Celebration. It was a fun and festive evening where the people we support, their families and our staff had the chance to catch up, meet new people, celebrate achievements and enjoy time together.

The celebration was opened by Kare’s new CEO, Margaret O'Neill, who welcomed everyone to the event: "Tonight is about celebrating all of you, the people at the heart of Kare – those who are part of our services and the families and friends who support them. So much has been achieved this year. Learning new skills, trying things independently, taking on new challenges or setting goals for the year ahead: each one of these moments matters and you should all feel proud." 

Hosted by MCs for the night, Eamonn Quirke and Damian Carroll, the party was packed with activity including dance competitions, spot prizes, a raffle, DJ Gavin Duane on the decks and the announcement of this year’s Kare Photo of the Year competition winner.
