The Voice for Kare Representatives group came together in our McMahon Centre in Kilcullen to launch the easy read version of Kare's new strategic plan.

While the strategic plan and easy read version were officially launched by Minister Emer Higgins in June, this was a chance for the Reps group to review the plan, watch accessible videos explaining it, and celebrate the completion of the easy read version.

Voice for Kare Chairperson, David Leigh, welcomed the group and thanked them for their involvement with the strategic plan, from attending the Beyond Barriers conference in November 2025 to working on the easy read document.

Kare CEO, Margaret O'Neill, outlined Kare's plan for the future and new vision for 'connected communities where everyone belongs'.

The plan focuses on delivering high-quality, person-centred services alongside five other priorities: advocacy, governance, supporting staff, technology and innovation, and building strong partnerships and long-term sustainability.
